Overview
The Roadtec Training Center project in Chattanooga, Tenn., serves as an addition to the Roadtec Manufacturing Plant. The center includes a large bay door that allows Roadtec paving equipment to be brought inside for demonstration. The stadium-seating auditorium seats 100 students and includes a state-of-the-art audio-visual system. The addition also consists of a food preparation kitchen as well as secondary upper-level classrooms. The addition spans 10,960 square feet, and the project involves masonry wall construction with a combination of hollowcore, steel, and cast-in-place elevated slabs.
