We’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of our standout interns, Lusa Waller!
Lusa interned with out for the first time last year, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back. We love her continued interest in both construction and what we are doing here at EMJ, and we’re proud to support her growth this semester.
Lusa is currently interning with our Southwest office team, where she’s been contributing to our Walmart remodel projects. She’s gaining hands-on experience both in the office and out on the jobsite, while diving into the preconstruction process and building valuable industry knowledge. Her strong work ethic and eagerness to learn have made a meaningful impact on the Walmart remodel project team.
Lusa is also a proud student at Texas A&M University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science. While continuing her education, she’s also building hands-on experience. We’re grateful to be a part of her professional journey.

And here’s a fun fact you might not expect: Lusa once got paid to perform stand-up comedy! 🎤 (We can confirm, she brings great energy both on and off the jobsite.)
