George Heath has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Construction and Matt Connors has been promoted to Director of Construction, Southwest office.
A graduate from California State University, George has 25 years of construction-related experience and has been with EMJ for 14 years. As SVP of Construction, he will work closely with Jack Brown, Jason Dunnam, and Matt Connors to give leadership to field operations.
George will oversee the process of planning and directing the activities of the operations function of construction and will be responsible for the overall success of the construction department in the Southwest office.
In this role, his primary goal is to serve and support the operations team—including Superintendents, Vice Presidents of Construction, Directors of Construction, Project Managers, and Project Engineers—to help them deliver unique value and exceptional experiences throughout the construction process.

Matt is a graduate of the University of New Mexico. He has 15 years of construction-related experience and has been with EMJ for 7 years.
As Director of Construction, he will plan, organize, and direct the activities associated with key construction of projects. He will give leadership and confidence to project teams and guide decision making that impacts potential issues and outcomes of projects.
In this role, he will lead project managers as they work with owners, owner’s representatives, and the architects and engineers to ensure the project’s success and deliver an exceptional client experience.
