Overview
Majestic 12 is a theater development with load-bearing masonry walls located in downtown Chattanooga, Tenn. The development spans 55,000 square feet. The theater is designed as the first LEED NC-certified movie theater in the country. The theater with stadium-style seating uses captured rainwater for gray water use and more efficient light fixtures and mechanical units, which impact the environment less. The EMJ team participates in the LEED process by commissioning, aiding with methods to divert construction debris from area landfills, and constructing in compliance with all LEED credits. These efforts earn the project LEED Gold status.
