“This is a big deal and we are honored to be a small part of H-E-B’s expansion into north Texas,” said George Heath, Vice President of Construction, EMJ Construction. “We love working with clients who provide an exception product, but more importantly care about their communities.
The Frisco store is located at the northeast corner of Legacy Dr. and Main St., and the Plano store is at the southwest corner of Preston Rd. and Spring Creek Parkway. Both stores are slated to be completed by Fall 2022.
“A project of this size doesn’t happen over night or without behind the scenes support,” said Mabrie Jackson, Director of public affairs, H-E-B. “We want to thank George and your wonderful team.”
Founded in Kerrville, Texas, H-E-B’s is an iconic brand from the Lone Star State. As a multi-format retailer, H-E-B has served the broader community for two decades with its innovative Central Market stores that serve customers in Dallas, Plano, Southlake, and Fort Worth.
H-E-B stores also serve communities near the Metroplex, including Burleson, Hudson Oaks, Granbury, and Waxahachie. The Frisco and Plano locations will be the first stores to carry the H-E-B brand in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
