H-E-B Breaks Ground in North Texas for Frisco and Plano Locations

Stephen Butt, president of H-E-B’s Dallas-based Central Market division, speaks at the Frisco ceremony.

This week H-E-B broke ground on two new stores in Frisco and Plano, Texas. The stores will be built by EMJ Construction and come on the heels of expansions into Hudson OaksKerrville, and Lubbock.

“This is a big deal and we are honored to be a small part of H-E-B’s expansion into north Texas,” said George Heath, Vice President of Construction, EMJ Construction. “We love working with clients who provide an exception product, but more importantly care about their communities.

The Frisco store is located at the northeast corner of Legacy Dr. and Main St., and the Plano store is at the southwest corner of Preston Rd. and Spring Creek Parkway. Both stores are slated to be completed by Fall 2022.

“A project of this size doesn’t happen over night or without behind the scenes support,” said Mabrie Jackson, Director of public affairs, H-E-B. “We want to thank George and your wonderful team.”
