EMJ will soon break ground on a new production distillery for Chattanooga Whiskey, working alongside Lamp Post Properties, Cogent Studio, LLC and Chattanooga Whiskey.
The current structure spans about 46,000 square feet and can house over 4,000 aging barrels of bourbon whiskey at one time. Construction plans also include over 10,000 square feet of production space, over 2,000 square feet of office space for Chattanooga Whiskey headquarters and over 4,000 square feet of future event space.

“This additional location will provide us with the capacity to expand beyond our current three markets, building Chattanooga Whiskey into a more nationally recognized premium bourbon producer from Tennessee,” said Tim Piersant, founder and CEO of Chattanooga Whiskey.

Piersant also said officials look forward to local, high-quality manufacturing in Chattanooga’s downtown. The distillery will be one of the largest craft bourbon whiskey producers in Tennessee.
The Chattanooga Whiskey project is just one of multiple high-profile projects for EMJ in its hometown of Chattanooga.
