Overview
The EMJ team performed an extensive renovation on Hotel Paso Del Norte, one of El Paso's most historic landmarks and its largest hotel.
In order to maintain the integrity of the original hotel while also updating it to modern codes and standards, the team performed intricate work which included: refinishing the entire building, rebuilding walls to meet code requirements, updating mechanical systems, special ordering parts that would connect to original parts and systems in order to get the kitchen up and running, new fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and sourcing marble from all over the world in order to match the natural stone in the lobby.
Our team helped bring the client's vision for El Paso's 108-year-old icon back to life. The 351-room hotel features a 10th-story pool, cigar bar and preserved original features like the intricate Tiffany-style stained glass dome over the Dome Bar.
Hotel Paso Del Norte also boasts plenty of food and drink options, including the Sabor restaurant and 1700° Steak House, and 33,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including private boardrooms, meeting rooms and ballrooms.
