EMJ Celebrates Drew Halsey’s Retirement and 23 years of Service

This week, the Southwest office gathered to celebrate the retirement of Drew Halsey, Vice President, Preconstruction.

Drew joined EMJ in 1999 as an Estimator. In his 23 years at EMJ, Drew has served in various roles within the EMJ family of companies—most recently helping lead the preconstruction department in the Southwest office as Vice President of Preconstruction.

“I’ve spent my entire career working with Drew. He is a patient and thoughtful leader
and I’m so thankful for all that I’ve learned from him over the years and the many projects we’ve partnered on together,” said William Mosher, EVP of EMJ’s Southwest office.

Drew was instrumental in the success of several EMJ Construction programs, including H-E-B, K-Mart, Kohl’s, JCPenney, and Lowe’s. He also worked on several notable projects, such as Cut! by Cinemark and River Spirit Casino and Resort Convention Center.

“Drew has been an incredible mentor and taught me so much in the years we’ve worked together,” said Keith Starkes, Vice President of Preconstruction. “He is always willing to share his knowledge with others and he’s played an integral part in so many of our projects.”

Please join us in thanking Drew for his many years of service at EMJ Construction and its family of companies. His involvement, both directly and indirectly, in so many projects and with so many people has made an impact with our clients, partners, and colleagues that will last for years to come.
