Overview
Pearland Recreation Center and Natatorium is a development in Pearland, Texas, that spans 18,000 square feet. The new recreation center consists of a gymnasium, weight room, children’s and youth rooms, racquetball courts, dance and aerobic rooms, a multi-purpose room kitchen, locker rooms, and a second-story indoor track and cycling room. Other features include a 50-meter pool, double 3-meter diving boards, double 1-meter diving boards, and a warm-up pool with a zero-depth entry. This project is a joint venture of the city of Pearland, Pearland ISD, and the Pearland Economic Development Corporation. The project earns an Award of Excellence in the sports or recreation facilities category by Texas Construction.
